Afnic recently joined the Transition Numerique Plus Association (ATN+). Consisting of IT manufacturers offering products or services for SOHOs / SMEs and institutions sharing their knowledge of the French ICT ecosystem and their networks, the purpose of ATN+ is to develop the digital economy in France. Through web conferences, universities, roundtables, and training for positions as "digital advisors", the association supports companies in adopting new digital applications and helps them integrate the technologies to improve their competitiveness. A challenge consistent with one of Afnic's assignments, namely to help SOHOs / SMEs play a leading role in the digital economy.

In order to accelerate the DNSSEC deployment under the .fr namespace, Afnic just launched with its registrars a promotion campaign that includes the publication of Practical guide to DNSSEC deployment as well as a financial incentive!
