Afnic has officialy filed its applications to manage the 11 French extensions on 11 May 2012. Many actors from the digital scene have expressed their support through je-soutiens-afnic.fr.

We would like to foundly thank all of these actors from the French digital community: individuals, companies, resellers, counterparts, legal or intellectual property experts, politicians, research and Higher Education organizations... Mobilisation goes on until 30 June 2012 when results for the call for applications for .fr should be revealed.

On 11 May, Afnic filed its applications to manage 11 French extensions with the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry.

Afnic attends the DigiEvening on Digital Economy and the "Made in France"

Organized by Cap Digital, this particular DigiEvening will focus on the correlation between the digital economy and the "Made in France" brand.
